Since 1909, Gaspard has maintained a tradition of excellence in manufacturing high-quality, low-cost academic regalia. With offices across Canada, in Minneapolis (U.S.), and Puerto Rico, they have supplied vestments for many international celebrations including robes for the Commonwealth and Pan American games. Even with 100 years of experience and industry-leading customer service, Gaspard was starting to feel competitive pressure on a national scale. An aggressive leadership role needed to be taken in order for the longstanding brand to have a future in Canadian high schools.

Gaspard had always presented schools with annual information on what and how to order grad gowns. We charged them with a new vision, re-establishing them as the Canadian leader in regalia quality and service, showing the country that ‘Some Things Simply Deserve Our Best’. And, in terms of environmentally responsibility and education for students, we developed a mutual appreciation incentive program to build unprecedented school and client loyalty on how to ‘Keep Canada Green’. Gaspard client schools could also have the chance to be rewarded for their environmentally responsible green grad regalia choice with an official ‘Keeping Canada Green’ banner to display in their school with pride.

Every year the ‘Green Grads Give Back’ Spirit Wear Program gives students and schools the opportunity to purchase boldly branded Canadian outerwear with 10% of the proceeds going to an embraceable Canadian environmental cause. Customization of these products offers a great way for grads to connect with fellow students and become a supplemental fundraiser for the school. The revenue generation program gives students the opportunity to showcase their Canadian pride, environmental consciousness, and school spirit all at once. For Gaspard, it meant a deeper commitment as a green champion; proving itself yet again as the Canadian grad gown and regalia supplier of choice.
Interactive Media Online Student Scholarship Contest
Reusable graduation gowns are the environmentally responsible choice for schools across Canada. To help reinforce Gaspard’s commitment to these schools and their students, we launched the ‘Keep Canada Green’ online scholarship contest. Through it, we introduced thought provoking questions with entertaining graphics to inspire and educate students to build on Canada’s growing world legacy as a responsible world leader. The top scores across our great land were given the chance to win up to ten $1,000 scholarships.
